Who is responsible?

This website is operated by Aivent UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schäferstraße 59, 01067 Dresden, Germany. Email info@aivent.de, phone +49 172 4494227.

The taxi company you order from is responsible for the taxi order. Aivent runs the WhatsApp service and the booking page on its behalf (processing on behalf of a controller under Art. 28 GDPR).

Visiting this website

When you open the site, our hosting provider stores technical access data in server logs: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system. This data serves secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after 30 days at the latest. The home page sets no cookies and uses no analytics tools.

Contact form

If you write to us via the contact form, we process your name, your email address, your message and, if provided, your phone number and taxi company in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The enquiry is sent as an email to info@aivent.de, and you receive a confirmation. We delete the enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless a retention obligation applies.

Ordering a taxi via WhatsApp

When you message a taxi company on WhatsApp, we process your WhatsApp number and profile name, your messages and attachments in the chat, pickup location, destination and pickup time, the name and note for the driver, your location only with your permission, and technical data from the booking page such as IP address, device type and screen size.

Purpose: to accept your order and pass it on to the taxi company, to send the confirmation and ride status via WhatsApp, to prevent misuse and to settle accounts with the taxi company. The legal basis is the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for misuse prevention our legitimate interest (point (f)).

If your pickup location is outside our service area, we ask whether we may notify you once booking is available there. Only if you agree do we store your postal code and send you a single WhatsApp message (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email.

Who receives data?

  • The taxi company that takes your ride: name, pickup location, destination, time, note and your phone number.
  • WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (messages via the WhatsApp Business Platform), and 360dialog GmbH, Grünwald (technical access to WhatsApp).
  • Google Ireland Ltd.: map, address search and routes on the booking page, and the translation of names and notes for the driver.
  • Vercel Inc. (booking page) and DigitalOcean (WhatsApp service) with processing in Frankfurt am Main, and Supabase (database) with processing in Stockholm.
  • HeiGIT gGmbH, Heidelberg, and OpenStreetMap (routes and street data to supplement the map).

Where providers are based in the USA, we base the transfer on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

Booking page: cookie, map, measurement

The booking page sets a technically necessary session cookie that links your booking link to your session. It is valid for 24 hours at most. There are no advertising cookies.

The page loads Google Maps for the map. Google receives your IP address in the process.

We measure which steps of the booking are reached and on which devices and systems the page runs, without addresses, names or texts. This shows us where ordering gets stuck. For troubleshooting, we record how the booking page is used, including your entries. Only Aivent staff can see the recording; we delete it as soon as it is no longer needed for troubleshooting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long do we keep data?

Messages and attachments for 6 months. Rides and ratings for 3 years. Your contact details for 3 years after your last contact. Server logs for 30 days at most.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR). To do so, email the taxi centre you booked with (the address is in its WhatsApp profile) or info@aivent.de; we forward your request to the centre.
